  7. INTRODUCTION
  8. =============
  9. This update corrects problems with the PowerPC C++ translator included in
  10. Power Macintosh CDK, bringing the translator inline with the latest 68K
  11. release.

  13. You should also update your Essential Development Set and Visual
  14. Architect/TCL 2.0 as well: updates for these components are available
  15. separately.

  17. UPDATING YOUR SYSTEM
  18. =====================
  19. This update contains one small applications that will transform your
  20. existing PowerPC C++ translator into the latest version. Updating is easy:
  21.  
  22. • Double-click on the patch application (e.g. “PowerPC C++ 7.0.2 patch”).
  23. • Read the messages in the dialog that comes up; they may contain
  24.   important information. Click the ‘Patch’ button.
  25. • Find the component asked for using the standard file dialog box.

  31.     The patch is done in place! This means that the patcher will overwrite
  32.     the file you’re updating. When it is done, you will get a confirmation that
  33.  the patch was successful if all goes well.

  35. • You must re-precompile ‘PPCMacHeaders++’ and ‘PPC TCLHeaders’. See pp. 212—214
  36.   of the User’s Guide for further information on precompiled headers.
